The Admissions and Placement Director plans, directs, and supervises the activities of the Outreach and Admissions and Career Transition Services Programs to ensure effective implementation of all program areas. This role involves preparing reports, maintaining student progress records, and managing personnel within the department.
Responsibilities
- Plan, direct, and supervise activities of the Outreach and Admissions (OA) and Career Transition Services (CTS) Programs
- Ensure proper planning, scheduling, and effective implementation of all activities in program areas
- Prepare and submit required reports
- Ensure proper records on student progress are maintained by the OA/Career Transition Department
- Ensure case notes and PCDPs are up to date per PRH
- Adhere to cohort enrollment, case management efforts, and career transition services for Health Care and Construction industry clusters
- Assess personnel promotions, transfers, and merit evaluations within the department
- Conduct and prepare performance appraisals
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field AND 2+ years of supervisory experience OR Associate's degree in Human Services or related field AND 4+ years of supervisory experience
- Ability to pass a drug screen
- Ability to pass a nationwide criminal background check
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in human services, psychology, counseling, education, social science, business, communications, or closely related field, or an Associate’s degree in related fields
- Bachelor's degree with two years related supervisory experience OR Associate's degree with four years related supervisory experience
