Work Study - Stage Manager

About This Role

Manage theatre rehearsals and performances by assisting the director, maintaining the space, tracking blocking, and managing actors' schedules and communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist the theatre director during rehearsals and call light/sound cues for performances
• Ensure the theatre space is clean and ready for rehearsal, including sweeping the stage
• Take detailed notes on blocking choices during rehearsals and provide lines to actors
• Track actor conflicts with rehearsal times and record their arrival/late attendance
• Maintain good communication with the director and cast regarding potential disruptions
