This role involves providing 1:1 nursing care to patients in their homes, focusing on individuals with specific needs like gastrostomy, non-ambulatory, non-verbal, and seizure activity. The nurse will ensure optimal health for patients through dedicated direct care.
Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 nursing care in a patient's home
- Care for a 21-year-old patient with gastrostomy, who is non-ambulatory, non-verbal, and experiences seizure activity
- Complete nursing notes within 24 hours of the shift
- Undergo patient-specific training as provided by the company
Requirements
- NYS Nursing licensure
- Computer literate
- Completion of onboarding prior to training
- Ability to complete nursing notes within 24 hours of shift
