About This Role

Develop and maintain Vital Incite's web applications using the .Net framework, Visual Studio, and Microsoft SQL Server to enhance client experience and reduce manual tasks. This role involves the full software development lifecycle from specifications to bug fixes.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement web applications using the .Net framework, Visual Studio, and Microsoft SQL Server technologies
  • Enhance and maintain web applications to answer client questions and reduce manual tasks
  • Develop or modify proprietary codesets to support Vital Incite’s products and user base
  • Communicate progress, status, issues, and resolutions to team members and manager
  • Participate in various phases of the software development life cycle, including specifications, development, QA, delivery, and bug fixes
  • Translate business needs into technical solutions
  • Collaborate on and participate in executing the overall Technology Strategy, Plan, and product roadmap

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in coding and implementing web applications using the .Net framework, Visual Studio, and Microsoft SQL Server
  • Proficiency in development using Microsoft .Net technologies including C#, .Net Core, .Net framework 8 or later, MVC, and Entity Framework
  • Experience building .NET web applications using common frameworks and tools such as JavaScript, jQuery, JSON, and CSS
  • Skilled in developing web-based user interfaces using Telerik tools
  • Ability to implement and consume SOAP or REST services
  • Experience with Visual Studio and the Microsoft stack including .Net Core, .Net 8 or higher
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server including T-SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and functions
  • Strong debugging, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal

Qualifications

  • Computer Science degree or equivalent skills of 5+ years of full-time web development using Microsoft technologies and tools
  • 5+ years of full-time web development using Microsoft technologies and tools; 5+ years of development of web applications using C# with responsive modern web application design and frameworks

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Telerik tools, Git source control, and Azure preferred
  • Understanding of healthcare claims data preferred
