Warehouse Supervisor

About This Role

Supervise and manage venue distribution and warehouse operations including inventory, receiving, purchasing, and equipment maintenance. Provide leadership, coaching, and training to part-time warehouse staff to ensure efficient and profitable business operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage and run venue distribution/warehouse operations including inventory, receiving, purchasing, and ordering
• Actively supervise, coach, counsel, direct, train, and mentor employees in meeting company quality standards
• Ensure established procedures for tracking purchase orders, requisitions, and inventory are maintained
• Maintain sanitation and organizational systems of all warehouse storage areas
• Provide direction to part-time warehouse staff for event lay-ins, requisitions, breakdown, returns, and equipment storage
• Ensure adherence to the purchase order system for all received orders, verifying specifications and proper labeling
• Oversee and ensure appropriate stocking levels for each event, rotating and maintaining product integrity
• Ensure proper transfer process of product between departments, including documentation
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of concession and utility equipment
• Evaluate warehouse employee performance and maintain employee records
• Conduct walk-throughs of commissary, warehouse, and storage areas to ensure cleanliness
• Oversee daily operations as opening or closing manager on duty
• Assist Kitchen Manager with daily/weekly/monthly inventory

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years warehouse / distribution experience
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience
• Ability to effectively communicate with staff and guests
• Ability to make sound business/operations decisions under pressure
• Ability to speak, read, and write in English
• Solid working knowledge of computer applications: Microsoft Office, POS systems, timekeeping system
• Thorough working knowledge of all existing concessions locations and procedures
• Thorough working knowledge of all applicable sanitation requirements, food preparation guidelines, and safety standards
• Ability to calculate basic math functions for inventory
• Ability to handle cash accurately and responsibly

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years warehouse / distribution experience and 2 years of supervisory experience
