As a Warehouse Selector, you will be responsible for accurately picking, gathering, and organizing products for delivery to customers. This role involves physical activity, including lifting and walking, in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Responsibilities
- Pick various items using order sheets or an audio headset
- Stack items on a pallet for wrapping and loading at bay doors
- Ensure accuracy of orders while adhering to safety standards
- Operate a double walkie-rider or electric pallet jack to remove cases of products from storage racks and place on pallets
- Apply selection labels to appropriate cases (when applicable)
- Utilize proper wrapping techniques to ensure product safety and prevent damages
- Inform Supervisor of any differences in case quantity and/or description
- Perform equipment inspections and complete appropriate forms
- Safely lift varying case weights, shapes, and heights
- Follow all material handling equipment safe operating procedures
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma
