Billing Specialist

About This Role

This Billing Specialist role involves processing billing and pricing corrections and working with various departments to manage credits. The position supports the broader Sales Team and focuses on reconciling vendor incentives.

Responsibilities

• Process billing and pricing corrections
• Work cross-functionally with other departments to get credits entered, processed and released
• Manage proper execution of reconciliation of vendor incentives (quarterly, monthly, prepay, OI) credits
• Work with retailers and the merchandising team to review missing allowance, deals on invoices
• Determine the quickest, most effective ways to answer a client's or customer's questions
• Escalate queries and concerns & troubleshoot common pricing issues and corrections
• Review Food Show books and order guides to identify deals not entered and communicate to proper personnel to correct
• Run and complete daily order guide reports for the West Coast and Pacific Northwest
• Run additional reporting as needed

Requirements

• 2-5 years related industry experience in wholesale or retail
• Specialized Knowledge: a passion for numbers
• Basic computer skills
• Proficient in Gmail, Office, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Professional verbal and written communication skills
• Organization, prioritization and problem solving skills

Qualifications

• Associate Degree - General Studies, High School Diploma - General Studies
• 2-5 years related industry experience in wholesale or retail.
