Warehouse Generalist/Order Picker

About This Role

This role involves performing various duties within a warehouse setting, including order picking, loading, and forklift operation. It contributes to fulfilling customer orders and maintaining warehouse organization.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties of a Warehouse Worker, including using an Order Picker to fulfill customer orders
• Manually pick cases of product from warehouse racks and build pallets for orders
• Utilize Voice-command, pick sheets, and Power-warehouse to record daily actions
• Load products onto trailers, ensuring proper stacking and plastic wrapping
• Operate an electric pallet jack to load pallets onto delivery trucks
• Perform duties of a Warehouse Clerk
• Operate Stand-Up Forklift to put away or retrieve pallets up to 46 feet high
• Manually stock cases of product into warehouse racks
• Record daily actions using a Radio Frequency Computer Terminal
• Perform duties of a Selector, including selecting full case grocery/perishable/frozen items
• Perform duties of a Backhauler, operating an electric pallet jack or clamp machine to transport products off inbound trucks
• Perform duties of a Porter, including cleaning and maintaining warehouse aisles, product slots, offices, break areas, and restrooms
• Work to the end of the shift, including necessary overtime, to meet business needs
• Assist in other departments based upon business needs

Requirements

• Ability to operate pallet jack and other required materials handling equipment (MHE)
• Ability to operate battery hoist
• Ability to maintain required productivity/work expectations
• Demonstrates commitment and ability to work safely
• Reliability and satisfactory attendance

Qualifications

• General Equivalency Diploma - General Studies, High School Diploma - General Studies
• 0-2 years relevant experience
