Warehouse Logistics Lead

About This Role

Lead and support the communication flow for loading finished products to trailers and ensuring all necessary documentation is prepared. Coordinate trailer loading locations and communicate with carriers to ensure timely collection and loading of products.

Responsibilities

• Lead a group of shipping and receiving team members
• Communicate instructions to warehouse equipment operators
• Coordinate trailer loading locations
• Prepare documentation for purchase orders (Bill of Lading and invoice)
• Communicate with carriers to ensure on-time collection and loading of finished products
• Review operator and carrier data in Tracking Platform
• Ensure maintenance of food safety practices and SQF System requirements
• Communicate any deviations, problems, or abnormalities with equipment, processes, and products

Requirements

• 4+ years experience in manufacturing or similar field
• 4+ years experience in a similar position
• 4+ years experience managing people/projects
• Intermediate knowledge in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Intermediate Knowledge of storage systems
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to communicate with different levels of the organization
• Ability to resolve conflicts
• Ability to analyze information

Qualifications

• High School Diploma
• 4+ years of experience in a field or similar manufacturing environment, 4+ years in a position of this type, and 4+ years managing people/projects.
