Warehouse / Cooler Operator

About This Role

Perform various warehouse and inventory tasks within a cooler/refrigerated environment, including receiving, processing, storing, and distributing items. This role involves loading/unloading trucks, maintaining stock, and ensuring accurate inventory records.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload stacks and move items as assigned
• Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins by predetermined sequence
• Sort and store perishable goods in refrigerated area
• Maintain organization, rotation of stock, and neatness of all coolers and warehouse
• Fill requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other items and distribute to production workers
• Accurately pull and prepare customer orders for shipping and efficient loading
• Check all information for accurate shipment of customer orders and product cleanliness/condition
• Use computer to accurately scan or enter/maintain inventories and records
• Complete daily pick sheets, cycle counts, and production take backs
• Assist with monthly and year-end inventory counts and cycle counts
• Monitor materials, product, and equipment and report irregularities to supervisor
• May operate a forklift, including a standing forklift
• Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 0 to 1 year of warehouse, distribution, production, or related experience
• Able to work in a team environment
• Able to perform accurate basic math computations and inventory counts
• Able to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing
• Able to perform routine machine adjustments
• Able to adapt to changing situations and perform tasks as assigned
• Able to follow directions
• Able to work with accuracy and attention to detail
• Must be able to read, write and speak English

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 0 to 1 year of warehouse, distribution, production, or related experience
