Processing Assistant - Machine Operator

About This Role

Operate production equipment, including UHT and aseptic processing systems, to produce dairy products while ensuring quality standards. Maintain cleanliness of equipment and adhere to all manufacturing practices.

Responsibilities

• Make mix/batching for UHT and aseptic systems
• Set up, CIP and clean UHT and aseptic processing systems and all associated equipment
• Set up, CIP and clean associated raw and pasteurized equipment (tanks, lines, batch systems, etc.)
• Perform assigned PM’s, rebuild valves, pumps and homogenizer, etc.
• Operate and CIP separator and other associated equipment
• Lift 50 to 100 lbs. on a repetitive basis
• Work in hot, humid conditions
• Complete and maintain all associated records in accordance with company, state and federal requirements
• Adhere to all Good Manufacturing Practices

Requirements

• Able to follow directions and carry out instructions
• Able to effectively work in a team environment
• Able to legibly write entries for record keeping
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
• Must be able to read, write and speak English

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Production or general work experience preferred
