About This Role

Join Staples' World Class Supply Chain Team as a warehouse associate, responsible for various duties including material handling, receiving, and shipping, to deliver essential products to customers.

Responsibilities

• Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, cherry pickers, turrets, or electric pallet jacks to pick and move product up to 100 lbs
• Perform general cleaning and basic maintenance duties inside and outside of the facility as a Warehouse Porter
• Replenish stock within the warehouse using material handling equipment
• Confirm accuracy of product, address discrepancies and damages, manually unload trucks, and palletize products as a Warehouse Receiving/Putaway/Returns associate
• Match item quantities and descriptions to packing slips on returned items, check in returned product, and tag it appropriately as a Warehouse Returns associate
• Organize, stack, shrink-wrap customer orders on pallets, and manually load trucks for Shipping
• Ensure safe work practices and embrace the company's safety culture

Requirements

• Minimum three (3) months related experience in a warehouse environment
• Ability to pass a drug screen (legally permissible)
• Basic English language skills (verbal and written)
• Ability to work additional hours beyond scheduled shift, including overtime
• Ability to work at heights up to 60 feet or more
• Ability to lift, push or pull boxes/merchandise weighing between 70 pounds and 100 pounds by hand
• Must wear safety composite shoes
• Ability to walk and stand 100% of the time
• Must be at least 18 years old

Qualifications

• Minimum three (3) months related experience in a warehouse environment; or any equivalent combination of acceptable training, education, and experience.

Nice to Have

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience
• Prior experience operating warehouse equipment, such as forklift, pallet jack and cherry picker
