About This Role

This role involves leading the strategy, P&L, operations, and sales execution for TicketManager's VIP and All Access lines of business. The VP will scale the corporate ticket buying and selling marketplace into a market-leading platform, turning a fast-growing offering into a scalable business.

Responsibilities

  • Own the overall strategy, P&L, and roadmap for VIP and All Access marketplace businesses
  • Serve as the business owner for the marketplace, working cross-functionally with various departments
  • Define and own the overall growth strategy including pricing, positioning, customer segmentation, and account expansion
  • Manage the sales team supporting VIP and All Access, including hiring, training, quotas, and performance management
  • Lead relationships with strategic partners, primary rights holders, and marketplaces, negotiating commercial terms and managing SLAs
  • Design and implement the long-term operating model for the marketplace, including workflows and staffing
  • Partner with Product and Engineering to ensure marketplace systems are robust, scalable, and integrated
  • Build a data-driven culture, defining metrics, building dashboards, and running experiments to improve pricing and conversion
  • Streamline payments processes to reduce friction and optimize costs
  • Continuously improve day-to-day operations through efficiency and automation

Requirements

  • 7-10+ years of experience in marketplaces, ticketing, live events, or related B2B/B2B2C businesses
  • 2+ years in leadership roles owning P&L and managing a team
  • Deep understanding of supply/demand dynamics, pricing, and economics in a marketplace environment
  • Proven track record negotiating complex commercial agreements and managing strategic partners
  • Demonstrated ability to design and scale operational models, streamline workflows, and use systems and automation
  • Experience leading sales or revenue-adjacent teams, setting quotas, coaching reps, and aligning incentives
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to structure problems, interpret data, and turn insights into action
  • Ability to partner effectively with Product, Engineering, Finance, and Marketing to deliver integrated customer experiences

Qualifications

  • 7-10+ years of overall experience with marketplace, ticketing, or live events; at least 2+ years in leadership roles owning P&L and managing a team

Nice to Have

  • Experience with ticketing, live events, or sponsorship inventory
  • Relationships with primary ticketing providers, secondary marketplaces, and hospitality re-sellers
