VP, Portfolio & Strategic Enablement

About This Role

This executive leader will drive operational excellence, financial transparency, and delivery velocity across a global technology ecosystem by overseeing diverse, enterprise-critical teams in portfolio management, HR/Finance transformation, and other key areas. The role involves setting long-term direction, attracting talent, and fostering strategic partnerships to accelerate innovation and value at Disney Experiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead unified modernization of HR and Finance technology, including global HCM and finance platforms
• Drive architecture strategy for cloud native platforms, API-led integrations, analytics, and AI capabilities
• Oversee resource planning, budgeting, and vendor partnerships
• Champion change management and data privacy/compliance
• Lead the Technical Project Management Center of Excellence, defining common frameworks and best practices
• Oversee all technical project management for the DSE portfolio, ensuring budgets align to strategic priorities
• Own governance of long-term and annual plans, forecasting, and executive reporting for centralized DXT Portfolio Management
• Lead the DX technical learning, development, and capability agenda, advancing onboarding, mentorship, and the Tech Academy
• Define and execute a vendor strategy that rationalizes the portfolio, elevates strategic partnerships, and drives value
• Mature SPOT/3PE/VEP platforms and vendor data capabilities to ensure portfolio transparency and compliance

Requirements

• 15+ years leading large-scale technology portfolios and multidisciplinary teams
• 8+ years in executive leadership
• Expertise in portfolio management tools (e.g., Clarity/MyPPM)
• Expertise in integrations with Atlassian and ServiceNow
• Depth in vendor strategy and operations (governance, performance, cost optimization, risk)
• Proven HR and Finance transformation leadership
• Strong FinOps and resource capacity planning experience
• Strong executive communication and stakeholder management across SVP+ audiences
• Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Engineering, Finance, Business, or related field

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Engineering, Finance, Business, or related field required; advanced degree preferred.
• 15+ years leading large-scale technology portfolios and multidisciplinary teams, with 8+ years in executive leadership
