VP of Energy Strategy - GRC

About This Role

As the Vice President, Energy Strategy - GRC, you will lead sustainability communications and reporting, ensuring internal compliance and benchmarking QTS against competitors in utility innovation for a world-class data center company.

Responsibilities

• Manage and analyze firm's ESG data across funds and Business Units
• Oversee and report on ESG related disclosures including annual ESG report, TCFD report, and 10-K/10 report
• Collaborate with Corporate Affairs and Finance to create and implement disclosure controls and procedures
• Ensure data sources used in reporting ESG disclosures are strategic and tactical and develop business requirements
• Act as subject matter expert on ESG disclosures, keeping current on evolving trends and emerging regulations
• Ensure ESG disclosure requirements are properly vetted and implemented in a well-controlled process
• Review all public and internal ESG disclosures for accuracy and proper process adherence
• Coordinate internal audits or other external reviews of information within Blackstone's ESG disclosures
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with Business Units on ESG disclosures and related implications

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business management, construction management, financing, or accounting; or relevant professional experience
• 10+ years of relevant experience

Nice to Have

• 10+ years in a communications role for accounting or legal departments
• Experience with government emissions auditing
• Focus on Energy, Carbon, Water ESG reporting and programs
