Video Production, People Content Internship (Summer 2026)

About This Role

The People Content Video Production Intern will design and develop video content to bring HR/People campaigns, policies, processes, and programs to life in memorable and meaningful ways. This role supports the business by creating engaging content and helping accelerate the world’s transition to sustainable energy.

Responsibilities

• Research, write, film, direct, edit, storyboard, and produce content that effectively serves business needs and communicates concepts to stakeholders and collaborators
• Coordinate interdepartmentally within Tesla to plan video shoots, identify and scout locations, and secure permits
• Maintain clear and consistent communication within the team and among all involved parties
• Create shortlists, shoot schedules, and call sheets
• Manage time and budget effectively, capable of tackling local and out-of-state productions in short timeframes

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Video Production or related field
• Experienced camera operator, video producer, and photographer
• Experience with recording and mixing audio
• Strong understanding of Post-Production in video editing, color grading, and transcoding media
• Proficiency with Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere, or DaVinci Resolve

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Video Production, or a related field

Nice to Have

• Experience with drone operation
