Engineering Technician, Cell Manufacturing Engineering

About This Role

Develop production equipment and processes for dry electrode manufacturing lines, take 4680 cell electrode equipment concepts from initial prototyping through full production, and drive down manufacturing costs while maintaining high product quality.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and test continuous improvement projects
• Install continuous improvement projects
• Fabricate or modify parts for equipment prototyping in a development lab
• Support maintenance technicians during urgent line down events
• Participate in production line maintenance campaigns
• Maintain development lab space readiness for engineering activities
• Inventory, organize, and control access to maintenance tools and instruments

Requirements

• 5+ years experience in a maintenance or engineering technician role
• Ability to perform hands-on tasks related to equipment fabrication, commissioning and maintenance
• Familiarity with high-volume production equipment
• Command of the English language, both written and verbal

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in a maintenance or engineering technician role

Nice to Have

• Experience with hydraulic systems and positioners
• Experience with roll-to-roll converting systems
