The Vice President of Sales will develop and execute sales strategies for the mining and industrial sectors. This role drives revenue growth, expands market share, and leads a high-performing sales team across North America.
Responsibilities
- Ensure safety and compliance within all aspects of Sales Department activities
- Create and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve company revenue and growth goals
- Lead, coach, and mentor a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of accountability and performance
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and competitive positioning
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners, acting as the primary point of contact for high-value accounts
- Monitor sales performance metrics, ensuring efficient processes and tools are in place to support the team
- Collaborate with marketing, product development, and finance to ensure alignment on lead generation strategies, product offerings, and financial forecasting
- Conduct regular performance evaluations, set individual targets, and create personalized development plans for team members
Requirements
- 10+ years sales experience within mining, industrial or B2B
- 5+ years in a senior sales leadership position
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field
- Proficiency in CRM and sales analytics
- Strategic pricing
- Experience in an international business environment and working with multinational companies
- Exceptional leadership, communication and negotiation skills
- Strong business and financial acumen
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field; an MBA preferred
- 10+ years sales experience required within mining, industrial or B2B, with 5+ years in a senior sales leadership position
