About This Role

This role involves safely transporting residents of a retirement and assisted living community to appointments and activities, ensuring their comfort and adherence to driving laws.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe and timely transportation of residents to appointments and activities
• Ensure the safety of each passenger, assisting with wheelchair locking and seatbelt fastening
• Inspect vehicle wear items daily, maintain license tags, inspection & trip logs
• Clean vehicle interior and exterior regularly
• Obey driving laws and ensure appointment timeliness

Requirements

• Timely and dependable
• Display cleanliness and a well-groomed personal appearance
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
• Driver's license in good standing

Qualifications

• Typical candidates have one year of experience working with older adults

Nice to Have

• One year of experience working with older adults
