Van Driver

About This Role

Drive and transport participants of Element Care PACE to various community locations and medical appointments, ensuring their safety and comfort. This role offers a great work-life balance with no nights, weekends, or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Transport participants around the community, to and from medical appointments and other outside appointments
• Assist participants to and from the van for all pickups and drop offs
• Maintain vehicles' interior and exterior on a consistent basis to ensure safe transportation
• Notify the Director immediately of any incidents out of the ordinary, client injuries, client falls, or accidents
• Work with Supervisor of Drivers to identify specific needs of each participant
• Remove snow around surrounding area of vans during winter months to ensure client safety and safe operation of the van
• Assist the Day Care Center Staff with local activities and other duties, as needed

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of safe driving experience
• Valid state Driver’s License from the state of residence
• Ability to pass a DOT Physical and DOT mandated driver training
• Able to physically move and maneuver participants in a wheelchair
• Mandarin speaking required

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of safe driving experience
