Valet Driver

About This Role

Safely and efficiently park and retrieve vehicles for customers while providing excellent service and accurately explaining valet rates. This role offers an entry point into a career with SP+ and requires a commitment to safety and customer interaction.

Responsibilities

• Ensure every moment matters for clients by resolving requests and concerns efficiently
• Find new ways to solve problems and communicate proactively with clients
• Inspect every vehicle before safely parking it, noting all findings
• Explain valet rates to customers
• Observe traffic laws and safe driving practices
• Report all accidents, safety hazards, unusual occurrences, and policy violations to management
• Know the area's major streets, landmarks, and freeways to ensure seamless transportation experiences for customers
• Come to work in a clean uniform every scheduled shift, on time, and ready to work
• Remain in complete uniform for the entirety of your shift

Requirements

• A valid state driver’s license
• Current address
• Acceptable driving record
• Availability to work special shifts if needed (2nd, 3rd shift and/or weekends)
• Proof of eligibility to work legally in the U.S.
• Ability to provide accurate information to customers and co-workers
• Ability to respond professionally to customer problems or complaints
• Ability to read, write, add, and subtract US currency
• Ability to comprehend instructions, short emails, and memos
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and calmly adapt to changes, delays, and unexpected events while working

Nice to Have

• Ability to safely drive a vehicle with a manual transmission (stick shift)
