Valet Attendant

About This Role

As the first point of contact for guests, the Valet Attendant will greet arrivals, park and retrieve vehicles, and assist with any special requirements, ensuring an exceptional start to their visit at MGM National Harbor.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet all arriving guests at the Valet Entrance
• Provide courteous, efficient, and enthusiastic valet parking services
• Collect a vehicle claim check and retrieve the guest’s vehicle for departure
• Accommodate guests requiring special assistance and aid
• Report issues and/or potential problems to security or immediate supervisor to avoid traffic congestion and delays
• Assist in regulating the movement and flow of vehicles to avoid traffic congestion
• Answer guest questions about hotel registration, restaurants, events, activities, and attractions
• Resolve guest problems within the scope of authority, or refer to the supervisor on duty
• Report all alleged thefts or missing items to the supervisor and/or hotel security for further investigation
• Assist bell persons with the movement of luggage as necessary

Requirements

• Ability to work a varied shift to include weekends, holidays, and evenings

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in a service related industry preferred

Nice to Have

• Two years of experience in a service related industry
