Utility Clerk

About This Role

This role is responsible for general maintenance and cleaning duties, maintaining high safety and sanitation standards for members and team members, and managing carts/flatbeds for accessibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide members with prompt and courteous service and assistance, ensuring high standards of safety and sanitation.
• Maintain cleanliness of all club areas including sales floor, offices, restrooms, outdoor grounds, and parking lot.
• Gather and return carts and flatbeds from the parking lot to the club entrance, ensuring carts are well-stocked, clean, and in working order.
• Remove trash and debris from the parking lot, cart corrals, and exterior of the club.
• Perform maintenance and cleaning duties including wet/dry mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, carpet extracting, glass washing, and emptying trash receptacles.
• Maintain outdoor grounds including cart corrals, sidewalks, and outdoor trash receptacles.
• Prioritize maintenance and cleaning responsibilities efficiently across the club.
• Operate floor scrubber, trash compactor, and cardboard baler machines safely and efficiently.
• Restock maintenance/cleaning supplies and ensure supply areas are clean, neat, and organized.
• Perform minor and routine building repairs, notifying management of major repair needs.

Requirements

• Successfully complete required training and certification processes.

Nice to Have

• Prior maintenance or janitorial experience
• Prior retail/wholesale experience
