About This Role

Develop new business and maintain existing customer accounts for a range of construction machinery product lines in a specified region.

Responsibilities

  • Develop prospects and call on existing customers for WPI's complete construction machinery product lines
  • Maintain existing accounts and develop new accounts for division product lines (i.e. Komatsu) and other construction product lines
  • Call on assigned accounts in all locations in the region
  • Service assigned accounts for sales development
  • Promote good welfare among the company and its’ divisions

Requirements

  • 2+ years previous sales experience
  • 3+ years experience in sales of heavy construction machinery
  • Working knowledge of the above titled position and how it relates to the overall business and its’ objectives
  • Ability to meet goals and objectives set forth by the company
  • Adherence to policies and procedures set forth by the company
  • Current driver’s license and acceptable driving record
  • Computer literate and proficient in a Windows environment (MS Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook)
  • Dependable transportation
  • Dependable and able to work independently
  • Maintain good client relations and a professional appearance

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma, or equivalent, and Bachelor’s Degree in applied discipline preferred
  • 2+ years sales experience, with a minimum of 3 years in sales of heavy construction machinery
