Truck Driver CDL II

About This Role

Deliver parts to customers, assist with warehouse duties such as pulling and packaging orders, and process returns. This role includes managing customer orders via various channels and contributing to inventory tasks.

Responsibilities

• Deliver parts to customers as required
• Assist parts/warehouse personnel with pulling and packaging of parts for delivery
• Take customer orders or quotes by phone, fax, e-mail or walk-in
• Analyze orders for accuracy, cross reference by serial number, enter orders, and receive stock orders into WPI computer system
• Quote overhauls and spares as required
• Assist in keeping work area neat and clean
• Deliver orders to customer locations daily
• Pull warehouse orders as needed for daily deliveries
• Process customer returns from daily deliveries
• Process core returns to WPI vendors
• Process parts returns to WPI vendors
• Assist warehouse in daily orders for will call & branch transfers
• Assist warehouse in checking in & stocking incoming stock orders

Requirements

• 1 year previous experience
• Current CDL driver’s license and acceptable driving record per WPI Insurance carrier standards, or ability to obtain a CDL license
• Ability to pass and maintain drug and alcohol testing requirements as outlined by Department of Transportation
• Computer literate and proficient in a Window based environment
• Ability to learn company computer system
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Ability to bend and twist several times a day
• Ability to effectively operate forklift
• Ability to effectively operate company truck
• Ability to travel and stay overnight

Qualifications

• G.E.D. OR High School Diploma
• 1 year previous experience
