This role involves performing a high volume of general imaging exams, including abdominal, small parts, GYN, OB, procedures, and pediatrics, while collaborating with providers and technologists to deliver exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities
- Cover scheduling gaps, including one dedicated shift every other week (guaranteed 8-12 hours per pay period)
- Work 2-12 hour holiday call shifts per year
- Perform general imaging exams including abdominal, small parts, GYN, OB (1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimester), procedures, and pediatrics
- Manage an exam load of 25-35 exams per 24-hour period
- Utilize Phillips equipment for imaging procedures
- Collaborate with providers and technologists with a high culture of safety
- Engage in cross-campus collaboration and standardization
Requirements
- Associate degree or equivalent experience
- Current certification in Abdomen (RDMS-AB), Breast (RDMS-BR), OBGYN (RDMS-OBGYN) from ARDMS or Sonography (ARRT-S) from ARRT
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider certification
