About This Role

This role involves performing a high volume of general imaging exams, including abdominal, small parts, GYN, OB, procedures, and pediatrics, while collaborating with providers and technologists to deliver exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Cover scheduling gaps, including one dedicated shift every other week (guaranteed 8-12 hours per pay period)
  • Work 2-12 hour holiday call shifts per year
  • Perform general imaging exams including abdominal, small parts, GYN, OB (1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimester), procedures, and pediatrics
  • Manage an exam load of 25-35 exams per 24-hour period
  • Utilize Phillips equipment for imaging procedures
  • Collaborate with providers and technologists with a high culture of safety
  • Engage in cross-campus collaboration and standardization

Requirements

  • Associate degree or equivalent experience
  • Current certification in Abdomen (RDMS-AB), Breast (RDMS-BR), OBGYN (RDMS-OBGYN) from ARDMS or Sonography (ARRT-S) from ARRT
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider certification

  • Associate degree or experience in lieu of degree
