About This Role

Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations as ordered by licensed providers, ensuring high-quality, ethical, and compassionate imaging services. Provide support in all aspects of Radiology Ultrasound operations.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations as ordered by a licensed provider
  • Deliver high-quality imaging services in an ethical, professional, and compassionate manner
  • Provide support in all aspects of Radiology Ultrasound operations
  • Demonstrate sensitivity, professionalism, and strong interpersonal skills with anxious or vulnerable patients and their families
  • Communicate effectively with physicians, staff, and other healthcare professionals
  • Think and respond quickly, providing efficient, high-quality care in stressful or emergent situations
  • Maintain thorough working knowledge of all ultrasound equipment and related technologies
  • Demonstrate competency in addressing special needs, behaviors, and safety considerations for all age groups of patients served

Requirements

  • Degree in Allied Health (or a related accredited program) with formal training in Diagnostic Medical Sonography
  • RDMS registration (Abdominal, OB, or RVT) or ability to obtain within one year of eligibility
  • Current BLS certification or ability to obtain within 3 months of hire

Qualifications

  • Degree in Allied Health (or related accredited program) with formal training in Diagnostic Medical Sonography
