Ultrasound Technologist

About This Role

This role involves providing healthcare services through ultrasonic imaging for diagnosis and treatment. The technologist will perform various procedures including OB/GYN, abdomen, pediatric extremities, and vascular studies, ensuring appropriate patient care in compliance with medical ethics.

Responsibilities

• Provide health care services applying sonic energy to assist in diagnosis or treatment
• Perform ultrasonic imaging and related procedures in OB/GYN, abdomen, pediatric extremities and vascular procedures
• Demonstrate anatomy for interpretation and/or intervention by, or at the request of a licensed practitioner
• Exercise professional judgment in performance of services
• Maintain a demeanor complementary to medical ethics
• Provide appropriate patient care and recognize patient’s conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure

Requirements

• Graduate from an A.M.A. approved school of Sonography
• RDMS or ARRT (S) (or registered within one year of hire date)

Qualifications

• Graduate from an A.M.A. approved school of Sonography
• 2 years experience preferred
