About This Role

Perform sonography/vascular procedures to help improve patient and workflow in the Imaging Department at Medical City Arlington, supporting the center's mission and vision.

Responsibilities

  • Perform sonography/vascular procedures as outlined by the State of Texas and departmental protocols, including neurological, oncologic, and cardiac services
  • Responsible for customer needs in the Ultrasound area of the Imaging Department
  • Demonstrate knowledge of clinical procedures, equipment, and hospital/department policies related to job performance
  • Collaborate with other department leadership to develop and implement methods to achieve established goals and objectives
  • Maintain and achieve daily productivity and quality assurance standards set by management
  • Prioritize work and meet deadlines
  • Communicate effectively both verbally and written
  • Access secure drug and biological storage areas when necessary to perform assigned duties

Requirements

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (within 30 days of employment start date)
  • Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS)
  • Registered Vascular Technician (RVT) or Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS)
  • Vocational School Graduate or Associate Degree
  • Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written
