Perform sonography/vascular procedures to help improve patient and workflow in the Imaging Department at Medical City Arlington, supporting the center's mission and vision.
Responsibilities
- Perform sonography/vascular procedures as outlined by the State of Texas and departmental protocols, including neurological, oncologic, and cardiac services
- Responsible for customer needs in the Ultrasound area of the Imaging Department
- Demonstrate knowledge of clinical procedures, equipment, and hospital/department policies related to job performance
- Collaborate with other department leadership to develop and implement methods to achieve established goals and objectives
- Maintain and achieve daily productivity and quality assurance standards set by management
- Prioritize work and meet deadlines
- Communicate effectively both verbally and written
- Access secure drug and biological storage areas when necessary to perform assigned duties
Requirements
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (within 30 days of employment start date)
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS)
- Registered Vascular Technician (RVT) or Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS)
- Vocational School Graduate or Associate Degree
- Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written
