About This Role

Perform and evaluate sonographic examinations to aid physicians in medical diagnosis. Obtain clinical history and conduct physical assessments to determine appropriate testing protocols for patients.

Responsibilities

  • Perform all essential functions of a Registered Sonographer
  • Perform and evaluate sonographic examinations
  • Obtain clinical history and perform physical assessment of patient's condition
  • Determine appropriate testing protocol
  • Provide technical interpretation of sonographic and physiologic data to aid physicians in rendering a medical diagnosis

Requirements

  • Graduate of accredited Diagnostic Sonography Program or Certification with American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography
  • National Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer within 1 year of hire
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire
  • 9 months of Ultrasound coursework experience in Abdomen, OB/Gyn including clinical rotation

Qualifications

  • Graduate of accredited Diagnostic Sonography Program or Certification with American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography
  • 9 months of Ultrasound coursework experience in Abdomen and OB/Gyn including clinical rotation; entry-level position

Nice to Have

  • 9 months of Ultrasound coursework experience in Breast, Vascular including clinical rotation
