Perform and evaluate sonographic examinations to aid physicians in medical diagnosis. Obtain clinical history and conduct physical assessments to determine appropriate testing protocols for patients.
Responsibilities
- Perform all essential functions of a Registered Sonographer
- Perform and evaluate sonographic examinations
- Obtain clinical history and perform physical assessment of patient's condition
- Determine appropriate testing protocol
- Provide technical interpretation of sonographic and physiologic data to aid physicians in rendering a medical diagnosis
Requirements
- Graduate of accredited Diagnostic Sonography Program or Certification with American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography
- National Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer within 1 year of hire
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire
- 9 months of Ultrasound coursework experience in Abdomen, OB/Gyn including clinical rotation
Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited Diagnostic Sonography Program or Certification with American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography
- 9 months of Ultrasound coursework experience in Abdomen and OB/Gyn including clinical rotation; entry-level position
Nice to Have
- 9 months of Ultrasound coursework experience in Breast, Vascular including clinical rotation
