About This Role

The Clinical Applications Specialist for General Imaging Ultrasound will drive and execute clinical education training and demonstration strategies, facilitating evidence-based practice and supporting customer experience from pre-sale through post-implementation. This role focuses on optimizing technical and clinical competencies, image quality, workflow, and protocol management to improve productivity and patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical and clinical leadership during the pre-sales process by demonstrating Ultrasound products and their benefits to customers to drive revenue.
  • Coordinate, schedule, and execute objective-based system training for customers, monitoring and reporting on training outcomes.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for General Imaging Ultrasound and clinical liaison, strengthening clinical capabilities and driving business opportunities.
  • Advance new product (NPI) features and clinical techniques, partnering with customers to develop training plans for new product assimilation.
  • Support trade shows and professional conferences by performing product demonstrations and customer training.
  • Act as a focal point for the modality/team, identifying customer satisfaction issues and assisting in escalations and specialty training requests.
  • Develop meaningful relationships with customers, including key opinion leaders, to standardize and optimize protocols and support clinical education initiatives.
  • Maintain required well-written pre and post training documentation in conjunction with global guidance.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree or equivalent
  • 3+ years of Ultrasound technical/clinical industry experience
  • American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) certification in Abdomen, OB/GYN, Breast or RVT
  • Demonstrated experience working on GE Healthcare GI systems
  • Deep understanding of clinical education training and associated process implementation
  • Knowledge of Healthcare Information Systems, networking and IT
  • Willingness to travel extensively 75%+

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or equivalent
  • 3+ years of Ultrasound technical/clinical industry experience.

Nice to Have

  • Adult Cardiac and MSK certifications
