TSA On Call Data Collector

About This Role

This entry-level on-call Data Collector will support operational testing of security equipment at various airports across the US, performing data collection tasks and providing daily activity input to site leads. The role requires extensive travel and the ability to work in potentially stressful environments.

Responsibilities

• Support operational testing of various types of security equipment located in the nation’s airports
• Perform manual data collection using mobile handheld technologies
• Download data stored on security equipment
• Conduct operator interviews
• Time processes and procedures
• Evaluate vendor/contractor-provided training
• Provide daily input of activities to site lead(s) in a timely manner
• Pass through security equipment to test equipment and/or procedures
• Collect data under the supervision of a site lead, shift lead, or experienced data collector
• Review collected data to adjudicate any anomalies identified by the site lead/data analysis personnel

Requirements

• High School diploma + 2 years relevant experience or Associates + 0 years
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work well with others in a team
• Professional presentation in dress and demeanor
• Responsible, dependable behavior, professional focus and awareness
• Ability and willingness to stand for long periods of time during an 8-hour shift
• 100% travel required; each trip duration may be 2 weeks to 3 months
• Willingness to travel to various locations throughout the US for the duration of the assignment
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Comfortable in tight spaces and ability to climb stairs and ladders and walk across catwalks as needed
• Ability to obtain DHS suitability
• U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance

Qualifications

• High School diploma or Associates degree
• 2 years relevant experience with High School diploma or 0 years with Associates degree
