About This Role

This entry-level Data Technician position involves supporting operational testing of security equipment in airports by collecting manual and digital data, conducting interviews, and evaluating vendor training, with significant travel required.

Responsibilities

• Collect data using mobile handheld technologies
• Download data stored on security equipment
• Conduct operator interviews
• Time processes and procedures
• Evaluate vendor/contractor-provided training
• Provide daily input of activities to site lead(s)
• Pass through security equipment to test equipment and/or procedures
• Review collected data to adjudicate anomalies
• Present professionally in dress and demeanor
• Maintain responsible, dependable behavior and professional focus

Requirements

• High School diploma + 2 years relevant experience OR Associates + 0 years
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work well with others in a team
• Ability to present oneself professionally in dress and demeanor
• Responsible, dependable behavior and professional focus
• Ability and willingness to stand for long periods of time during an 8-hour shift
• Willingness to travel 100% (2 weeks to 3 months per trip)
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Comfortable in tight spaces
• Ability to climb stairs and ladders and walk across catwalks
• Ability to obtain DHS suitability
• Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance

Qualifications

• High School diploma or Associate's degree
• 2 years relevant experience with a High School diploma or 0 years with an Associate's degree
