TSA On Call Data Collector

About This Role

Support operational testing of security equipment at airports by collecting data, conducting interviews, and evaluating training. This is an on-call, entry-level position requiring extensive travel to various locations across the US.

Responsibilities

• Support operational testing of various types of security equipment in airports
• Perform manual data collection using mobile handheld technologies
• Download data stored on security equipment
• Conduct operator interviews
• Time processes and procedures
• Evaluate vendor/contractor-provided training
• Provide daily input of activities to site lead(s)
• Pass through security equipment to test equipment and/or procedures
• Collect data under overall supervision of a site lead or experienced data collector
• Review collected data to adjudicate anomalies

Requirements

• High School diploma or Associates degree
• Ability to obtain Public Trust Clearance
• U.S. Citizenship
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work well with others in a team
• Professional dress and demeanor
• Responsible, dependable behavior
• Professional focus and awareness in stressful environments
• Ability and willingness to stand for long periods of time during an 8-hour shift
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Comfortable in tight spaces
• Ability to climb stairs and ladders and walk across catwalks

Qualifications

• High School diploma + 2 years relevant experience or Associates + 0
• 2 years relevant experience with High School diploma or 0 years with Associates degree
