Trial Attorney

About This Role

Serve as a Trial Attorney, providing compassionate client care, handling communications with insurance companies, and preparing cases for trial to secure the most favorable outcomes for property damage and personal injury clients.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to discuss their case, show compassion and empathy, and earn their trust, confidence, and respect
• Update clients and communicate with insurance companies regarding the status of claims, demands, and offers
• Prepare the case for trial
• Try cases if needed
• Evaluate claims

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
• 6 or more years of litigation experience
• Member of the Florida Bar and in good standing
• Experience in knowing how to evaluate claims
• Superb negotiation skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proactive approach to problem-solving
• Ability to work independently in an office environment
• Team-oriented

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
• 6 or more years of litigation experience

Nice to Have

• 5 or more jury trials as first chair
• Bilingual (English/Spanish)
