Litigation Paralegal

About This Role

The Litigation Paralegal supports the Litigation team by assisting attorneys with day-to-day case management and trial preparation, ensuring organized case files and smooth communication with clients.

Responsibilities

• Perform secretarial, clerical, and data entry duties
• Maintain attorney calendars and track deadlines
• Schedule depositions, mediations, meetings, and hearings
• Manage documents using Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Adobe, and FileVine
• E-file legal documents through the State E-Portal System
• Assist attorneys in preparing for depositions, hearings, and conferences
• Draft basic court documents and litigation materials such as pleadings, motions, affidavits, and subpoenas
• Send correspondence to parties and non-parties
• Communicate with clients professionally
• Set up CourtCalls and/or Zoom for hearings and coordinate virtual attendance

Requirements

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to manage a heavy workload in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
• Strong communication skills
• Excellent organization skills
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage a heavy workload
• Teamwork oriented with a positive, service-minded approach

Qualifications

• 3+ years of litigation or paralegal experience preferred

Nice to Have

• Personal Injury Litigation experience
• Familiarity with the discovery process
• Experience e-filing in state court
