About This Role

The Triage RN provides clinical triage, patient guidance, and care coordination for Orthopedics and Total Joint Replacement patients within an outpatient setting. This role also involves leading Total Joint Education classes to prepare patients for procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical triage, patient guidance, and care coordination for Orthopedics and Total Joint Replacement patients
• Lead Total Joint Education classes twice a week to prepare patients for upcoming procedures
• Deliver direct patient care and support, ensuring high nursing standards
• Conduct patient assessments, devise care plans, and assist in outpatient procedures focusing on comfort and safety
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and post-procedure care
• Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care
• Administer medications, perform IV therapy, and maintain accurate patient records in compliance with regulations
• Uphold infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff

Requirements

• Associate's Degree Nursing
• Registered Nurse [RN - State License]
• 0-1 year clinical nursing experience

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree Nursing Required And Bachelor's Degree Nursing Preferred
• 0-1 year of clinical nursing experience required, 1-2 years of ambulatory care or outpatient experience preferred

Nice to Have

• Bachelor's Degree Nursing
• Basic Life Support [BLS Certification]
• 1-2 years ambulatory care or outpatient experience
