This role supports the Behavioral Health and Crisis Services team by ensuring smooth office operations and accurate fiscal management for the Treatment Services Area. The position will manage schedules, track projects, and handle fiscal tasks to improve community health and well-being.
Responsibilities
- Manage the executives' calendar, including making appointments and prioritizing sensitive matters
- Schedule large meetings and assist with special projects
- Schedule out-of-town meetings and arrange travel
- Assist with the coordination and program priorities
- Assist the Senior Manager and her leadership team with tasks that require tracking and monitoring of information
- Collect and compile data; produce graphics, tables, brochures, as needed
- Provide administrative support and office management tasks for a busy program
- Create and manage the amounts of direct purchase orders (DPOs)
- Make program payments and purchases using a payment card and Oracle
- Manage and pay invoices, track general funds, state grant expenses, and special needs funding, expenses using spreadsheets
Requirements
- 4+ years of progressively responsible office support experience
- Graduation from high school or High School Certificate of completion recognized in the State of Maryland
Qualifications
- Graduation from high school or High School Certificate of completion recognized in the State of Maryland.
- Four years of progressively responsible office support experience, with preferred experience in human services or mental health.

- Experience working with individuals with mental health conditions or in a human services environment
- Experience fostering effective working relationships and demonstrating strong interpersonal and communication skills in a team environment
- Experience providing administrative support and managing office operations, including scheduling, coordinating meetings, and supporting leadership
- Experience preparing requisitions, reimbursements, purchase orders, payments, and other fiscal transactions
- Experience compiling data and preparing reports, including tracking program statistics and budgets
- Experience using Oracle or similar systems for fiscal or administrative tasks
