Join our Traveling Construction Materials Technician team, work on thrilling projects nationwide, and develop professionally. This position involves 100% travel to work on high-profile projects such as transportation, commercial buildings, and wind farms.
Responsibilities
- Perform testing, observation, and inspection as directed in accordance with training and specified procedures
- Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Provide clear documentation of findings and results
- Perform basic analysis of data to verify accuracy before communication and submittal to the Project Manager
- Communicate information to Project Manager and other personnel as directed
- Draft inspection reports for review by senior inspector and/or Project Managers
- Assist more senior inspectors on projects
- Maintain equipment and calibration
- Follow safety rules and practices and other safety requirements for all projects
- Maintain quality standards on all projects
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2-4 years’ experience as an Engineering Technician
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history
- Successful completion of related internal safety certifications
- At least one of the required certifications (NICET Level II, ICC, AWS CWI, ASNT Level II, ACI, Radiation Safety/Nuclear Density Gauge)
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent, Associates degree in Civil Engineering Technology or Construction Engineering Technology preferred
- Minimum 2-4 years’ experience as an Engineering Technician or other applicable experience; 1 year experience in construction inspection preferred.

- Associates degree in Civil Engineering Technology or Construction Engineering Technology
