Travel Trauma ICU Registered Nurse

About This Role

Join American Traveler as a Travel Trauma ICU Registered Nurse in Tyler, Texas, working with Level I Trauma patients. This role involves comprehensive patient care in an ICU setting, with required floating to other units.

Responsibilities

• Work in a Trauma ICU setting within a hospital environment
• Care for Level I Trauma patient population
• Work 3x12 hours, days (7:00-19:00) shifts
• Maintain a patient ratio of 1:2
• Float to ICU, IMC, and Telemetry as needed
• Utilize Epic charting system for patient documentation
• Complete orientation modules onsite
• Attend the first week of orientation without requested time off

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license at time of consideration
• Minimum 2 years of Trauma ICU experience
• Level I Trauma experience
• Travel RN experience
• Experience with Epic EMR

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Trauma ICU experience

Nice to Have

• PALS certification
• TNCC certification
