Join American Traveler as a Travel Trauma ICU Registered Nurse in Tyler, Texas, working with Level I Trauma patients. This role involves comprehensive patient care in an ICU setting, with required floating to other units.
Responsibilities
- Work in a Trauma ICU setting within a hospital environment
- Care for Level I Trauma patient population
- Work 3x12 hours, days (7:00-19:00) shifts
- Maintain a patient ratio of 1:2
- Float to ICU, IMC, and Telemetry as needed
- Utilize Epic charting system for patient documentation
- Complete orientation modules onsite
- Attend the first week of orientation without requested time off
Requirements
- Active TX or compact RN license at time of consideration
- Minimum 2 years of Trauma ICU experience
- Level I Trauma experience
- Travel RN experience
- Experience with Epic EMR
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of Trauma ICU experience
Nice to Have
- PALS certification
- TNCC certification
