Serve as a travel Registered Nurse in a correctional Med/Surg unit in Chicago, Illinois. Provide acute care to patients, working night shifts and adhering to strict vaccination and scheduling policies.
Responsibilities
- Work in a correctional facility on the Med/Surg unit
- Work night shifts, 3x12 hours (7:00pm-7:30am)
- Work every other weekend
- Float to any unit or facility up to 50 miles at management discretion
- Utilize Cerner EMR for charting
- Must be willing to float to various units based on facility need, including outside primary competency under a team-based model
Requirements
- Active Illinois RN license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum 2 years of recent acute care Med/Surg experience
- Must live within a 75-mile radius of the facility
- COVID vaccine required
