Join American Traveler as a Travel Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department in San Leandro, California. This role involves providing emergency care to adult and pediatric patients in a hospital setting and requires an active CA RN license with specific certifications.
Responsibilities
- Work in an Emergency Room setting within a hospital environment
- Provide emergency care to adult and children patients
- Utilize Epic EMR system
- Adhere to a 13-week assignment duration
- Manage 12-hour day shifts from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM
Requirements
- Active CA RN license
- Minimum 1 year of recent (within last 3 years) full-time ER nursing experience
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 6 months of hire
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Minimum 1 year of recent (within last 3 years) full-time ER nursing experience
Nice to Have
- Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field
- CEN certification
- TNCC certification
- Ability to recognize and interpret cardiac dysrhythmias
- NIH Stroke Scale certification
