About This Role

Provide quality patient care as a Respiratory Therapist on a 13-week night shift assignment in Cleveland, Ohio. Responsibilities include operating ventilatory and oxygen delivery equipment, evaluating patients, and explaining treatment plans.

Responsibilities

• Conduct physician-prescribed treatments operating various ventilatory and oxygen delivery equipment
• Perform chest physiotherapy and suctioning by various methods
• Monitor oximetry and capnography as per policy
• Review patients' chest x-rays for further evaluation
• Conduct pulmonary function studies and assist in related procedures
• Perform tracheostomy care and arterial punctures as needed
• Record all pertinent information regarding treatments and patient responses accurately
• Communicate effectively with medical staff regarding therapy efficiency and patient care
• Maintain accurate respiratory therapy charging and documentation

Requirements

• Licensure to practice as a Respiratory Therapist
• Familiarity with all respiratory care protocols and procedures
