Provide quality patient care as a Respiratory Therapist on a 13-week night shift assignment in Cleveland, Ohio. Responsibilities include operating ventilatory and oxygen delivery equipment, evaluating patients, and explaining treatment plans.
Responsibilities
- Conduct physician-prescribed treatments operating various ventilatory and oxygen delivery equipment
- Perform chest physiotherapy and suctioning by various methods
- Monitor oximetry and capnography as per policy
- Review patients' chest x-rays for further evaluation
- Conduct pulmonary function studies and assist in related procedures
- Perform tracheostomy care and arterial punctures as needed
- Record all pertinent information regarding treatments and patient responses accurately
- Communicate effectively with medical staff regarding therapy efficiency and patient care
- Maintain accurate respiratory therapy charging and documentation
Requirements
- Licensure to practice as a Respiratory Therapist
- Familiarity with all respiratory care protocols and procedures
