Travel Cardiac Telemetry Stepdown RN

About This Role

Provide direct patient care as a Cardiac/Telemetry Stepdown Registered Nurse for high-acuity patients with complex cardiac conditions, managing medications and collaborating with healthcare staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for a diverse patient population, including those with cardiac issues and respiratory problems
• Manage patient care under a nursing ratio of 1:4 in a PCU setting
• Titrate medications and administer various drips, including Cardizem, Amiodarone, and Heparin
• Collaborate with the charge nurse and other healthcare staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Utilize Philips monitors for telemetry and ensure accurate interpretation of cardiac strips

Requirements

• Experience in a higher acuity telemetry or stepdown unit
• Ability to manage and titrate cardiac medications

Qualifications

• Experience in a higher acuity telemetry or stepdown unit is essential.
