This role is for a travel Med-Surg Registered Nurse responsible for providing direct patient care, overseeing staff, and coordinating care activities in a 29-bed unit specializing in orthopedic and medical-surgical patients.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a high-volume unit
- Oversee nursing staff and coordinate patient care activities
- Utilize telemetry monitoring for patients as needed
- Assist in training and mentoring new staff members
- Implement and monitor care plans for a variety of surgical and medical patients
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
- At least 1 year in a Charge RN role
- Previous travel experience
- BLS certification
- Experience with Epic charting system
- Must pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in a Charge RN role; Previous travel experience is required.
