About This Role

This role is for a travel Med-Surg Registered Nurse responsible for providing direct patient care, overseeing staff, and coordinating care activities in a 29-bed unit specializing in orthopedic and medical-surgical patients.

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care in a high-volume unit
Oversee nursing staff and coordinate patient care activities
Utilize telemetry monitoring for patients as needed
Assist in training and mentoring new staff members
Implement and monitor care plans for a variety of surgical and medical patients

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
At least 1 year in a Charge RN role
Previous travel experience
BLS certification
Experience with Epic charting system
Must pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in a Charge RN role; Previous travel experience is required.
