Join American Traveler as a Travel Pediatric Operating Room RN for a 13-week assignment in Charleston, WV. This role involves providing scrub and circulating nursing care in a 30-bed Pediatric Operating Room for patients from newborn to 17 years old.
Responsibilities
- Work in a 30-bed Pediatric Operating Room unit caring for patients from newborn to 17 years old
- Perform day shifts with a 5x8-hour schedule from 6:45 to 15:15
- Handle weekday and weekend on-call duties with a rotating, self-scheduled call schedule
- Provide circulating and scrub nursing care in pediatric surgical procedures
- Utilize EMR systems including Cerner, Accudose, and SBAR
Requirements
- Active WV or Compact RN license
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Scrub and circulate experience in the operating room
- Experience in a pediatric and women’s specialty setting
- Reside at least 75 miles from the facility
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
