This role is for a travel Operating Room Circulating Registered Nurse in Newberg, Oregon, focusing on patient care in a short-term acute care hospital and Level IV Trauma Center. The position involves circulating duties, floating to other units, and on-call requirements.
Responsibilities
- Work in the Operating Room of a short-term acute care hospital and Level IV Trauma Center
- Perform circulating OR RN role with ability to scrub considered a plus but not required
- Maintain a day shift schedule (4x10 hours), 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Provide on-call coverage: one weekend every 5-6 weeks and one night each week
- Float to other units and sister facilities as needed
- Manage a 1:1 patient assignment in the OR
- Utilize Epic EMR for charting
- Request time off in advance (up to 6 days or 3 consecutive days auto-approved)
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year recent circulating OR RN experience
- Epic charting experience
- Vehicle required for floating between nearby facilities
- Must provide two supervisory references from the last three years
- Cannot reside within 50 miles of the facility
- Commitment to work at least 3 of 5 major holidays
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year recent circulating OR RN experience required
