Serve as a travel nurse specializing in preoperative care, preparing patients for surgery by providing information, starting IVs, monitoring vital signs, and offering emotional support.
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for surgery as a registered nurse - pre-op (RN)
- Serve as an advocate for patients, providing information about upcoming procedures
- Start IVs and monitor vital signs
- Handle paperwork related to patient care
- Help alleviate patient fears and provide moral support
- Share education for patients and their families
- Play an essential role in preventing disease
Requirements
- At least 1 year of recent acute care experience in preoperative specialty
- Active RN license
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of recent acute care experience in specialty
