About This Role

Manage patient care before, during, and after open-heart surgery within the operating suite. Responsibilities include patient preparation, handling surgical instruments, monitoring patient status, and assisting with procedures, alongside providing pre- and post-operative education.

Responsibilities

• Manage the care of patients before, during, and after open-heart surgery
• Prepare the patient for surgery
• Handle and prepare operating instruments and equipment
• Monitor patient status during surgery
• Assist with open-heart surgeries
• Provide pre- and post-op education to patients and their families
• Provide moral support to patients and their families

Requirements

• At least 1 year of recent acute care experience in CVOR specialty
• Active RN license

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of recent acute care experience in specialty
