Manage patient care before, during, and after open-heart surgery within the operating suite. Responsibilities include patient preparation, handling surgical instruments, monitoring patient status, and assisting with procedures, alongside providing pre- and post-operative education.
Responsibilities
- Manage the care of patients before, during, and after open-heart surgery
- Prepare the patient for surgery
- Handle and prepare operating instruments and equipment
- Monitor patient status during surgery
- Assist with open-heart surgeries
- Provide pre- and post-op education to patients and their families
- Provide moral support to patients and their families
Requirements
- At least 1 year of recent acute care experience in CVOR specialty
- Active RN license
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of recent acute care experience in specialty
