Travel Nurse RN - Labor and Delivery

About This Role

Serve as a travel nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery, providing comprehensive care to women and newborns throughout the childbirth process. This role involves monitoring vitals, administering medication, managing complications, and educating new mothers.

Responsibilities

• Care for women and newborns during the antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and neonatal stages of childbirth
• Coach women throughout the birthing process
• Monitor the mother's and baby's vitals
• Administer medication and manage potential complications
• Assist in caesarian sections when needed
• Provide education and guidance to new mothers regarding recovery and infant care

Requirements

• At least 1 year of recent acute care experience in Labor and Delivery
• Active RN license

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of recent acute care experience in Labor and Delivery specialty
